Apparently the school they have sent you to is not too hot if you cannot spell "personal", "friends" and write like my nine year old....maybe you should ask your parents to drop the butler and buy you a tutor to fix your atrocious spelling and grammar....
But to answer your question, it is not bad to be rich if you worked hard and earned it...but you haven't, you should seek a way to become important to whatever business your folks are in and try to emulate them so that you can be as successful as they have become.
And don't drive the Mercedes on US roads until you are 16, I don't want you plowing into my minivan on the way back from picking my kids up at school....

Being rich is both good and bad. It's good because you never have to suffer from want. It's bad because you're at high risk for becoming a spoiled brat, ESPECIALLY when you're born into a great deal of money. You never learn to work for the things that you want. You're used to always getting your way.
But why can't you hang out with your friends or eat take out food?
I'm not even sure I believe your situation. Personal butler? And for going to one of the most expensive schools in your state, you sure aren't very literate. |

Its only bad to be rich when the Democrats are in office.......don't worry, you'll get it in a few years.....lol
AND..maybe you should consider being a writer..you certainly seem to have an imagination.....with that expensive education, you should at LEAST be able to spell. And which state lets 14 yr olds drive? |

Being rich isn't a bad thing if you realize your wealthy don't become spoiled and take everything for granted. |

its not bad, but flaunting it and making others feel bad, is not good
If you want to live like a completely normal kid, tell your parrents to call of the butler and all of that stuff, and get a job if you can?
Learn the value of a dollar and have fun, but dont go crazy on the normal thing, take it slow, it must be a big transition :)
Good luck |

could you tell your parents that you don't need a butler and that you want to do things on your own? tell them you want to go to a public school or a less expensive private school?... and you are allowed to drive when your 14?... |

Being rich and successful is not a bad thing, however if you are not content with your situation it can hurt more than help. As long as you view money as a tool that can help you in many of life's challenges, fine, but don't let it consume you. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders and understand that material things are not that important. I know that coming from money makes people see you differently and even be prejudiced against you for no reason. I suggest you have a sit down with your parents and urge them to listen to you and stop showering you with things you don't want or need. They probably still view you as a little kid with no mind of your own and think that by drowning you in ''bling'' you'll be happy. Talk to them. make them listen to you and see what you're all about. The young person you are with thoughts, feelings, and a strong sense of self and what is really important...being normal and having a normal life. Best G (The Musical Mad Scientist and Entrepreneur)

yes you can. im not very rich,
im middle class. and there is a kid that went to my
school and he always talked about how
rich he was and it really annoyed people
and nobody ever talked to him. but if he never
would have bragged about it then it wouldnt matter to
me and i would've prob. just seen him as a normal friend. so i guess as
long as you don't brag about it and showoff too much
you should be okay and also don't let your
friends take advantage of you |

Sure, but you will have to cut back, if I were you I would consider doing some volunteer work at a food bank or something, check with the community services in your area there are lots of great causes you can work with that will help keep you humble. |

Hi,
You are lucky your family has money. Enjoy it and if you are feeling bad about it, donate money or your time to something that you are interested in, something that will make you feel good. Enjoy the finer things in live. It might not always be there for you. |

There is nothing wrong with being rich, you should take advantage of what you have, there are a lot of people in this world who wish they could be in your position (like me, lol). As long as your a good person, things will work out for you. Your parents love you, and that's why they try to give you all of these things. Since you go to a rich private school, I am sure there are people like you that you can hang around with, and go to the movies with. I am sure that you are more normal than you think. |

If you are well off that is fine. I do think if you do not want such elaborate things (why the car if you are only 14??) then you should tell your parents that and start an education fund for yourself, a scholarship fund for your school - or do active donating to world wide organizations (red cross and such). This way you are making a positive impact on the world and feeling like a normal kid (while doing great things!) |

Give me your allowance, until you get to 10-20 dollars per week. Then you will know how its like to be an average kid.
Oh, that and your first car is the one that back fires every time you start it up. |

Being rich is not OK if you think that other people are hungry and you don't share.Being rich is not OK if you think that you're not going to heaven because money is more important than Jesus Christ. Of course you are OK if you do the right thing. Being rich is OK if you make that wealth as a helping opportunities that God is given to help others. That is how you will consider your self ,a normal kid, having a reason of living. Even a poor child couldn't be normal kid in our society if that child behave improperly. If any persons harm others and own self through drugs and alcohol, immorality etc.etc. |
