I fix up my home and hurricanes come, all of my bills go WAY up. I have a plumbing problem in my garage, my tooth's filing comes out, I have a bathroom leak in my toilet and tub and it is running out over the floor, I am filing bankruptcy because there were several months were I could not pay my electric or phone and my kid and I didn't have any milk or bread or gas in the car. Am I the only one out there with this black cloud over my head? Anyone have any ideas on how to live when you are living WAY below your budget already? I don't have any phones, I use my internet at work, I don't go anywhere or do anything that costs gas or money. I make too much money for any governmental help (lucky me I am middle class). I get so pissed of because I am trying so hard by working overtime EVERY SINGLE WEEKEND, but it is still not enough. My government is so worked up over this election, war, and the constant blaming, and dem v's rep that they forgot that people like me need them to listen.

Ok, I get it that I am whining. I earn over 40k I was getting by JUST fine! Then our government who just loves to tax the crap out of us decided to make me pay double on my credit cards. With the hurricanes my homeowners insurance increased from 500 to 2000 a year and I am NO WHERE NEAR WATER! Your suggestions to sell the house would be great if the real estate market was doing well but it is not and won't for some time. As far as going back to school, what for? people who are getting out of school and even find a job. I work overtime and I am fairly ok with a budget. No, I don't want my government bail me and I have NEVER asked for money. I feel like I am living in a socialist society and it scares me that they are taxing and insuring me right out of my house that I have have owned and over 5 years! Yes, I don't like to whine but hey it's still a free country right (although that won't last long if things keep going the way they are!)
