rockymountaindawn | Is it more likely in the US to make more or less than $100,000? |

In 2004, the median annual household income according to the US Census Bureau was determined to be $43,389,[2]
In the year 2005, there were approximately 113,146,000 households in the United States. 15.73% of all households had annual incomes exceeding $100,000,[5]
I am surprised that only 15.73% of households make 100K or more. Most of my single friends make that or more. |

You don't say whether you mean personal income or household income. Either way, the answer is less. 15.8% of households have six figure incomes, but only 5.6% of Americans have personal incomes exceeding $100,000 |

It truly matters on the way you view things. If you're Donald Trump you see big-you see many opportunities in front of you. If you see a world of scarcity, then you will think that it's more likely to make less than 100k [annually] |

It is possible for a household to make that..I think it is more possible between 75-100k than over though. |

Less. Only the top 1% of the population earns $100,000 or more. I think median income is between $30k and $40k, but I'm not sure. |

in USA making (earning) more than 100,000$ per year is quite possible and probable.
some 7% of working people in US earn more than that.
Now are you asking can you earn that much or more? = yes.
will you? that depends on somethings
do you have a backbone to do so?
do you have the skills/education to do so?
do you have the actions to do so?
do you want to believe people who say no
you can't - but will not pay for your future life?
the main reason people do not make that much is Choice of excuses not Choice of reasons.
go watch 'Pursuit of Happyness' and understand poor is a choice not birthright. |

more or less compared to what? The US has the second highest per capita income in the world. So it is more likely to make over a $100,000 than in all nations except Hongkong. But the per capita income or average income per person is $42,000. |

less....much less. That requires someone to make 30+ dollars an hour. Some places have minimum wages of 6 dollars |

Only the top 3% of the population earns $100,000 or more The great thing about this is that it is possible. I am sure it is a lot easier hear than any other godforsaken country of this world.
I know a lot of people grip about this and i herd a lot of guy talk about the boss when i was just a worker. I saw the boss and how good he had and said to my self if just do better than him I'll have more. Hear it is a few years later I am close and will soon pass that old boss. |
