Is it possible? Yes sometimes its quite easy to put blind faith in someone such as our parents or uncles/aunts for example
But is it advisable? No I don't think so, not even our parents because even though they are people trying to do their best, it is in human nature to mess up or to hurt others unintentionally.
As I am sure all of us have whether we know of it or not.

Honestly, no - there is always a chance however remote that they won't (or can't) come thru - still 99.9% is, I think, possible.

Heck, I don't even trust myself 100%.
