I am about 99.9% sure that your lottery winning letter is a LIE! I would be 100% sure if I took a look at your letter myself in person.
A friend of mine received a similar letter about 2 years ago except her "lottery" was supposedly held in Spain. My friend does not speak english fluently, and she asked me to read and translate it for her... upon fine print reading, I found that it was a hoax VERY, VERY SIMILAR to your letter. They also wanted her to send them some money... like $200, because the lottery prize money was supposedly held up by a independent audit company of some sort... complete crap story!
1st of all, if it was a true lottery and you are the genuine winner... then guess what, you're gonna need an authentic LOTTERY TICKET to claim that supposed winning money! Seeing as you never entered into such lottery -- you don't have the ticket, and they sure don't have the alleged ticket otherwise they'd go claim the prize money themselves.
So I told my friend to take the letter to her local Attorney General's office in Ventura County, California and to present the letter to them to confirm it's FRAUDULENT content... which they did!
Please DO NOT SEND these people any money! If you truly won some money, they should be sending the money to you. Also, if they have a phone number for you to call and it is NOT a toll free number, DO NOT CALL THEM because most likely their phone number is a ploy for them to make SOME money off of you... the phone number will most likely be a Pay Per Minute phone line. The call could end up costing you like $100+.
Bottom Line: Either spit, burn, or shred it to pieces OR send it to your local Attorney General's Office Fraud Unit as a complaint or for some dreamy possible confirmation! |

No... It's NOT true. I was one of there Victim about that kind of SCAM. Please do not beleive what they say. You will lose your money if you will truly beleive them. Because they want to get your attention first and they want to send first a basic fees into their Bank account. SO please do not beleive them. That's an truly Advice.. GOD BLESS You.. |

Did you buy an Australian lottery in the first place? once I got this message from somewhere that said my whole family has won a trip to the Bahamas, never happened!! They might be playing you. Go to the Nigeian Embassy in your country and ask them if there is such an avenue in the first place. No offence, but Nigerians are sort of known for fooling people.( No offence to anybody out there, I am an African too.) |
