Absolutely! Besides getting some business contacts that may be useful in the future, you're generate money instead of burning it. If you're doing nothing for 5 weeks, you're more likely to spend than save. |

Let's see, work for 5 weeks and make some money, don't work for 5 weeks and make no money. I suggest working for 5 weeks. A lot of retail establishments need help during Thanksgiving and Christmas, so that is your best bet when looking for short-term employment. |

It's absolutely worth it, especially if you work at a cosmetics counter at the mall. Great salary, great freebies, and most of all, they only want you for five weeks or six weeks, and so there's no major commitment there.
I worked at Dior for two years and it changed my life. I LOVE working retail, and darling, I've worked overseas for Ambassadors, in Federal Court, and for Fortune 500 companies -- but Dior was the best. |

Do you absolutely need the money? If not, consider spending more time with your family and friends during this time... you'll have your entire life to work and please realize you won't always have the time to devote to leisure. When I was in college, I had the opportunity to go with my family to Florida for two weeks... I opted to work and regret that decision to this day. I missed out on some good family time, and I can tell you that I learned that lesson early in life... now I guard that family time as if it were gold (because that's what it is to me). |

Why not? Imagine if you have a crappy boss or co-workers you dont like. That way, you wont be stuck with them for long, you know you only have a couple of weeks to deal with them. |

yea, a five week job is always good. you can only gain experience and to think of it everyone always gets tired of their job within the first month. so working the five weeks gives u money and u don't have 2 deal with those people again. |
