depends on where you live - it's pretty good where I live - it's great 2 hrs north of where I live (houses cost 1/5 or less of what they do where I live full time - I just bought one of those cheap ones for investment) |

Depends where you are. If you're in Hong Kong it's nothing. If you're in Australia or NZ then it is a reasonably good salary. Apparently it's not so fantastic in the US. |

Not as much as it used to be. |

It depends on where you are. And also how many you are supporting if you have a family.
If you live in LA, NY or DC, then $100,000 may just be good enough to live by. Not rich by all means, just enough to get by. More so if you have 2 kids for example.
But if you live in places where standard of living is lower, say Bangor Maine, then $100,000 may give you a comfortable life |

Depends on where you live, what your life style is, how big your family is, how much debt you have, etc. Most people today would consider it to be a lot. But it's not as much as it used to be. I've always measured a lot of money as the minimum wage of a major league baseball player. Around $330,000 today. |

It is good depending on what job you have and where you are. It is very sufficient for a comfortable lifestyle. |

Yes. It is a nice income. It breaks down to just over $8000 a month, which is a good amount to live on- even support a family. |

It is more than twice the national average but it may not be enough if you have high debt. If you are a doctor with 100K or more in student loans and had to put in 8 years education it wouldn't be enough.
Only 4 or so people where I work make that much out of about 120 people. |

Depends on where you live and how many people you are providing for. With prices going up the value of 100,000 dollars is dropping but yes it still is a very fair amount. |

Depends where you live.
In San Francisco, no.
In the mid-west where the cost of housing is cheaper, yes. |

Depends where you live and how you want to live.
I live in NY, and my hubby makes way more than $100K, but we live in small house (even though it cost $332K) and drive used cars. We only eat out once a week.
But if we lived in the Midwest or something I bet our money would go farther. We're actually thinking of moving to Texas for just that reason! |

Depends.
Do you spend more then you take in? If so, then it is not a lot.
If you spend less then you take home, then even $20,000 a year can be a lot.
But, if you want to compare it to national averages, and other standard benchmarks, $100K a year is a lot of money to most folks. |
