I'm in the middle of looking for a new career myself. I taught school in another town for 16 years. Now I'm wanting to see if there's a different career I could go into, before really hard applying for teaching jobs up here in North Texas. I'm doing most of my looking on the internet. Have landed some interviews, but only about 1 in 30 applications turns into interview.
However, 3 weeks ago I got offered a position selling Kirby vaccuum cleaners door to door. Of course, no paid traiining and full commission. To make a long story short, I quit after a week because the people who supposedly training me spent 80% of their time socializing and smoking. I told them to take me home in the middle of a shift. I was pissed and told them what I thought-THey are incompetent.
In my looking further on the internet for jobs, I find that sales jobs and work from home proliferate on the interntet.
Why are they so easy?
No paid training. You often spend some money buying their product to get started-so, they automatically make a profit by you looking into them-see them doing that nationwide 10,000 times-they make a killing-and its done all the time. |

If you want to work from your computer at home, you are probably going to have to do it as a business owner, rather than as an employee. There are no online work-at-home "jobs".
When you apply for a job offline, in the bricks and mortar world, do you have to pay anything? Of course not. It should be the same in the online world. If you are asked to pay any money, at best, it is a business opportunity, but more likely it is just a scam.
Be very careful that you don't get scammed.

I do affiliate marketing online. I've been doing it for a year and I'm getting ready to quit my regular job, as I am now making over $10k per month. However, it takes dedicated, persistent work, at least a few thousand of initial working capital, decent organizational skills, and a healthy dose of motivation, but you can make a living at it if you stick with it.

To be frank, most of the sites does not work. Look for practical ideas and reasonable returns. Unreasonable return promises are frauds. Believe in th rule of thumb. "If they are asking money for great future returns, 99% its a fraud". Please check this link where you could find some practical advise.

in my experience, the best way to make cash online is with affiliate internet marketing, where you market other people's products and you get paid commissions for sales. that can be as much as 75%. i make a decent living marketing other people's electronic information products (ebooks).
there is a lot of hype around internet marketing though. don't get sucked in by the 'gurus'. what you really need is a *system* that teaches you everything (including real marketing) .
