Only use a credit card when paying others (so you can charge back the money if they screw you) and take payments out immediately. Leave no money in there. The only people who will steal from you is Paypal itself. |

I think it's better than giving your CC number to multiple places. Been using it for years, never had a problem! |

Well, I have been using paypal for about 7 years and it has never served me wrong. Of course some other people may have their terror stories.
I find that I order from online about 30 tims a year about 10 of those transactions are through Paypal...and no problems. |

I feel it's safe. I have used it for many years. Never had a problem. But if you are still concerned, a great thing to do is buy a prepaid visa gift card and use that to make internet purchases. MUCH safer way to go. :-) |

no paypal is not safe and you should use your credit card instead if possible.
i had my details stolen from paypal and £600 simply desapeared, and they wont help you. just to get to then is a real nightmare.
i started using paypal 4 years ago and most times it was fine but it can go really really wrong just watch this website:

I've been using PayPal for many years and have never had any problems. I would trust PayPal more than I trust the people out there sellling stuff.
They're basically an escrow service. Instead of giving the money straight to the Seller, you give the money to PayPal and they give the money to the Seller. This protects you from the Seller taking your money. And for the Seller to be part of PayPal, they also had to sign up for it. So, if they steal your money, PayPal is all over them. |

Paypal is better if you buy, you'll always get your money back. If you sell they treat you with contempt. |

It's fine. I've been using paypal rather a lot for ten years and have not had a problem with it. |

The only way you would make it not safe is too have a easy password for it.

As safe as the ethical character of the web staff coordinating all those ACH payments is! |

Yeah its fine I have been using it for years. It is very secure and a good way to buy and sell to people over the net without giving out bank details.
Go for it. Its totally fine. |

Let me tell you something, I think everyone has had a different experience, mine has been an excellent one I have done transactions and I even wire money into my parents account outside the US for free. I like it and it seems very safe to me. As long as you know what you are doing. |
