Your local Credit Union will help you but that depends on how bad your credit is. They may require a co-signer or collateral. |

my credit union would have help me if I didn't had a lot of charge off i have too clear them up first and for prosper you have to have 550 credit score if it's below 525 gave it up and just start paying off your debt like me |

Partly it depends on what you mean by bad credit.
One potential source is prosper.com, which is different in that the lenders are private people, nurses, students. sailors, retirees and the like, who give and receive loans to each other. So they will give reasonable loans to people who other legit places won't.
There are groups who help you process a loan through prosper at no fee. One is:

If I were you, I'd ask your bank, or a few banks They sometimes have connections with companies that charge high interest, but are not scam artists. Maybe they can recommend a company in your area. If you always pay on time for a year or so, the bank might then offer you the chance to get back on a more normal loan. |
