my husband and I just bought a house, and we both work 40+ ,and we a a 7 yr old. but I really want to become a pastry chef and get paying for everything we have and school is going to be tough and i am also helping my elderly mom out with her finances. so this is really tough..Yesterday while I was driving home I just thought I cant let this pass by and never furfill my dreams. not only for me but for my daughter, I want her to look up at me and know that with all the challenges I have had I still did what I always dreamed of. I just cant afford another bill. any suggestions would be great help. Oh ya and I would nevr ever think of getting on any kind of government programs I think those are for the sick and elderly not for someone that is willing and able to work. just thought I would throw that in there for one of the answers that were given. |

The ones that aren't scams actually require work on your part - and if you're in need of money soon then you're likely to be sorely disappointed in any of those as well. Most of the legit opportunities out there take time to build - so if someone makes an outrageous claim of income it probably isn't true ( and those that are true sure didn't make that kind of money when they first began ).

I have other ideas that may help - one of them is an online opportunity but another is one that will require a little effort to market yourself - try some data entry for local businesses, many of them don't have the time to do it in-house and will gladly pay someone else to do it. Professionals are a good place to start, lawyers, doctors, chiropractors, etc - they need their "in-house" folks doing other things rather than busy work.

You could be a child care provider. Baby sit evenings/weekends. Doesn't pay much though, but it's a bit of extra cash.
You could sell stuff like Avon, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, the Adult toys one (I forget what its called), Candle Party, etc. |

Oh I really hope someone can answer this question with a positive answer and some information.
I tried looking for work at home jobs... most wanted me to send $$$ for an info packet, without really any information on what I would be doing. I was nervous about sending money in when I didn't even know if I would like it!
But, I always hear about people working from home so I know it must happen. Please let us know if you find any good resources! |

How about try selling Avon or MAry Kay.. or around here, there is a knife company that works the same way...
They take more effort than the ones you hear about just filling out forms and stuff, but if all else fails, it might work for you. |

Yes, you could be a computer programmer. Boring, hard to keep yourself entertained though. You could run your own online ebay shop selling your old unused items from your house. buying unused items from people, selling them for a profit. |

No. Ebay is the only legit thing I can think of, or doing some sort of freelance work in your chosen field or with some skill you have.
Be careful; whenever you post question like this you'll get about five or six answers that try to lure you to websites that are scams! |
