Being responsible with your money is the way to go. Keep it up. You hear about stories all the time about frugal shoppers and great deals. They are out there and with the Internet, they are easier to find then ever. |

Nope, if more people had that attitude, there wouldn't be bankruptcy, high interest rates, debt etc.. and the rest of us wouldnt' be paying for all this. better to have money when you need it, instead of useless junk sitting in a drawer or closet and no money. best of luck. |

Sounds like you are using your available resourses wisely and staying out of debt. Most people have huge debt from unwise use of credit cards and not considering how they will pay for it down the road. Continue to be smart about how and what you spend and you will avoid going into debt. |

We do the same thing. My fiance and I are both 22 and are not against saving as much as possible. We are both in college and are graduating in a couple of months. So, we know what it is like to have limited resources and know that our spending practices now will just lead us to better decisions in the future. Plus, when we are making a good deal of money and still saving based on coupons and what not, we will have more money for things we really want, like a wedding, a house or trips. |

Nothing wrong with spending money wisely and using cupons. Keep up the good work! |

No I don't see anything wrong with that. People often seem to think that earning more money is the key to financial sucess but actually, it's spending less. |

You are on the right track. I am the "coupon lady". I will hardly even go shopping - for anything without some kind of discount or coupon. I am going to start recycling my cans and bottles too. I make good money, but I have so many bills that I stretch out my finances as much as I can. I do buy clothes and personal stuff too.
I feel good about my spending habits too. |

Well, if you don't mind doing all the extra leg work that it takes to clip coupons and hunt to find cheap clothing on sale and all that, I say there is nothing wrong with that. I used to clip coupons from the Sunday paper for groceries, but I spent more money on the paper than I did saving money on groceries, so I quit that. My grocery store does have fliers with coupons in the mail at times, so I use those. When I go shopping for clothes, I have certain stores that I like to go to because they always seem to have sales, and I buy clothes at the end of the season for the next year, especially coats and boots for winter and stuff. I don't see anything wrong with trying to make do with what you have. Good luck. |

It's good to be frugal.
Just don't let it interfere with enjoying living. Money is just money. Love, spiritualism, family, and health should come first in the overall priority setting.
Be blessed, |
