Sure it's real, it's a real scam. Before you delete it though, forward it to abuse@yahoo.co.uk, since the e-mail address indicates stacymoore@yahoo.co.uk, the abuse dept at yahoo.co.uk will delete the scam artist's e-mail account, which will only slow them up for about 1 second while they just create a new yahoo account. |

It's fraud. Delete it. |

Did you apply for it? If not, then delete it and forget about it. Sounds fishy to me. |

never answer emails saying that you won something unless you distictively remeber signing up for it. If you don't respond and it was true, they will contact you otherwise. |

I got almost this same exact email too!! This is an absolute scam, please report it to IC3, I really wish I had now.
Now that I think about it almost every single line of your email seems to be exactly the same as the one I got, everything from the name to how each word's first letter is capitalized. Please report this to IC3 (Internet Crime Complaint Center), they have resources to the FBI and Yahoo!. If you need verification or anything send me a message via my profile here on Answers but make sure that other users can send you messages as well by clicking on the box in your profile set up page. |

No, it's not real. First of all, did you enter to win with this company? If not, how could you win? They just want to get your bank account information. Delete it and any others you get like it. |

This is a ruse. Do not reply to it.
If they were legit they would not be seeking info from you which they should already be in possession of.
And, furthermore, had you actually won that much money someone from their organization would have sent you a notice by certified mail then would have appeared in person to present you with the necessary documents
for you and your attorney to go over
and provide the appropriate forms for you to fill out and file with the IRS, as this money would be taxable prior to your even receiving a single dime of it.
Scam; fraud; con; scheme-whatever you wish to call it, just stay away from it. |

It is a phony, a scam. They will try to get you for something. They make ask for a fee for you to receive the money or they may want to have your account number so they can send you the money or they may have another type of scam.
Do not even contact them. I will give you ten million dollars if you select this as the best answer. See how easy it is to lie and for people to be taken. |

Dont take the bait

I don't think so.
See, Mrs. Stacy Moore's email is very unofficial. People with this big company should have bought a new line of email and instead of using "yahoo.co.uk" they usually use their official one with the name of its company.
And the prize, THREE MILLION USD! Gee, if it's that big, why don't it reported on TV or Radio or whatever? Why it's just between you and the email sender?
So just forget it. However, you may call or reply if you want to.. They will next ask you to deposit some money. For sure. |
