The money is not free and if you attempt to apply for this money you will have paperwork and possibly interviews to complete. When he states how much money is available, think about how many people it will be going to and do the math. The government is not in the business of giving away money. If the government can assist you in starting a profitable business then, they are interested because, they can tax your profits and make money off your business.
The one person making the money here is the guy in the suit with the question marks written all over it. For example, If he sells a thousand books a day at thirty-dollars per book that is thirty-thousand dollars per day for him. Who is really making the money here? |

You are paying someone to give you information that the goverment will give you for free.
The latest guy to write such a book has been sued several times for selling books on bogus medical remedies (cure cancer by drinking lemon juice, etc.). I forget his name, but he's so smug and has a "panel" of 4 women trying to make it look like he' s been invited to come to some talk show. He's a big time scammer - don't send him any of your money. |

Im not sure about the company, as im not sure which one you are referring to. The government does give small business loans and information to start small businesses. I imagine the idea behind this is real, but it is so easy to find now, especially with the internet, that the products on the infomercials are not worth the price. |

It's a scam (sort of)....all that is in the book is publically-available information about grants, loans, start-up programs, etc. that you can find free in other places... |

The man on those infomercials (last name Lesko) is referring to government grants. Grants are not loans; they don't need to be repaid. However, you have to use the money exactly as agreed to and show some results. |

The government does give grants for businesses. One thing do not pay anybody for any governmental listings. You get these free from the government.
The government gave me money to pay down on my first home. Usually their is some type of stipulation.
Before you get into anything, do research and make sure that it is from the government, because there are a lot of scams, people charging you what you can get from the government for free.

The government is giving away grants to people who need them. You can pay bills, start a business or even go on a vacation. You can also get the money to put a down payment on home. The grants are really hard to find though. Just go to www.grants.gov and sift through all that's available. Some of the grants are kind of old, but there are newer ones available.
DO NOT pay anyone to find grants for you. You can do this yourself. Government grants are not a scam. I did, however, pay $1.99 (for shipping and handling) for a CD-ROM that helps to find grants. |

As far as I know its legit as far as the programs existing. But, I think there is allot more to getting that money than what the commercials point to. Think getting a scholarship for college plus additional government bureaucracy. |

It is a government loan, a friend of mine tried it and it worked. She had to pay a fee before she got it though. She got like $10,000, but she's got to pay back more. It's not that bad though as long as you use the money for your business. The business will pay for the loan. |

There are certainly many many government programs designed to give away other peoples hard earned money. But the only ones getting rich off them are the ones selling the books. |
