Being a millionaire now would probably be like having $50,000.00 when you read that. Better shoot for a couple million these days. |

start investing and saving a certain % each month. thats how you do it. I started at 22 or 23 and have been investing, have an IRA set up, participate in my companys 401k, etc. |

For a million dollars, I'll let you know. |

just take an excel spreadsheet and create some scenarios where you invest x amount of money each month and assume various interest rates and total it all up. vary the amount of money you invest and the interest rates you assume until you find one that you like that gets you to a million dollars in 17 years. Its going to be something that is very dependent on actually getting the assumed interest rates in the latter years, so don't get too optomistic. 8% is probably a conservative annual net interest rate for your investments. again, the rates you get in years 15, 16 and 17 will make a huge difference because that's when you will have finally gotten a large balance |

There are no guarantees. What you probabably read was if you save x number of dollars and average x% return, it will be worth a million dollars. You'd have to save about $24,000 per year at about 10.2%. |

Any plan will work if you invest enough and invest it wisely and don't blow it. For instance, if you store $100,000 under your bed every year starting at 25, you'll be a millionaire at 35. |

35 must be the magic number because thats what I gave myself to become one. I still have a ways to go, but one of the most important things I did was become a homeowner because my equity has appreciated and boosted my net worth big time. They had one link but I forgot what it was, I would check bankrate.com and look under personal finance |

Hope you have a rich Uncle somewhere and that he leaves you inheritance of $1 million! Otherwise, the chances of it happening are slim to none.
OR....
Spend $10 a day on lottery tickets! By time you are 35, you should have won a few bucks.... maybe even a MILLION!!! |

I do not want to burst your bubble man but beware of anything that is too good to be true. After all, you do not want to end up with a st..fy up your... And if such a thing were true we would all have done it and be rich by now. |

yea it is called live at home, work 2 to 3 jobs save every $ , hope the market goes up as you get older, then you could do it easy, think about it if you made 40K per year if you saved 25 K per year then you could save 100K per every 4 years. 17 years that would be 425K ,but when you start to add in intrest on top of that it could turn out to be, if invensted right over a 1,000,000
so the answer is really hard work |
