Money, then you can buy power if you want. and do all sorts of other things while your "Power purchase" (guards, bodyguards , armed baddies etc) are protecting you therefore you'll be rich and powerfull................umm yeah |

This comparison involves two different levels of quality of influence one has.
Money can be exchanged for power.
Power can be exchanged for money.
Power can be exchanged for everything money can buy.
Money can not buy power if it is not up for sell.
The exchange rate is an elastic market and it is a "seller's market".
In the absence of other factors, the one with power has the most influence in setting the exchange rate.
That is if you took "x" money and exchanged it for "y" power.
Then you took "y" power and exchanged it for for money, that amount would be something less than "x" money, the amount you started with.
Therefore, money is a lower quality of influence than power.
Additionally, power might be transferable to the next life where money definitely is not... "You can't take it with you when you go!" |
