If the company said there was on the job training and they did not give it to her she was unjustly fired and she could sue them. Her fired mark would have to be changed to a layoff. If she worked more than 3 months at full time She would be eligible for unemployment. Try to help her find a job. |

tell her to pick herself up and accept life is not roses but lumps and bumps which you can only smooth some with experience and determination.
But if her target of lifetime happiness is in a career then she is in for disappointment because there would be a lot of happy career workers in the world. I don't see the middle class and upwards being any more happier than the rest of society.
She landed her first job which means she is inexperienced and as she is out of college she may have to start at the ladder rung that is suitable for her so that she can climb.
Give her support but don't be wiping her nose for her or she will never cope with life's realities. |

Maybe telling her how many times you have gone through jobs when you were younger. Your experience is a good one, becasue they relate to you. Or other family members. We can't learn by our mistakes unless we fail at some point. If everything was so easy in life we'd all be bored. Maybe she will find something better that she really likes. I believe everyhting happens for a reason. My brother in law couldn't get a job after college for 4 years. She's lucky to have found one so quickly. It will be hard, but things can only get better. |

pls tell her,this is not end of the world.She must look at it positively and move on.She must to some soul searching to identify her weakness and accept it sincerely.From there,she must be willing to make correction and move on for another job interview.There better jobs that where is was terminated.But must be willing to take instruction and deliver what ever is requered of her future job.If she is not sure,she must ask old stuff how to go about difficult issues.they will be more than willing to help her.

It is harder and harder to be out in the world and trying to
survive in the workplace. There are so many "dog eat dog"
tactics. I would say, just try again. Don't give new employers
a sob story; just let it go and try to forget. Don't dwell on it or it
will drive you crazy. Try to maybe get God in your life also; then
things like this will seem secondary. |

i remember mi9nes and i was fired. it was a stupid newpaper job...... alot of comopanies do that. i would have her focus mainly on what she wants to do. that always happened to me and io was only 14 now im 21 and a nurse. use that as a lesson.... if she is young and still in school then tell her to take that experience and put it in the back of her head... cause the next time she will know what to ask of the company (expecially since they did not ake the time to train) and ask them what kind of training they offer. but now i just saw out of college lol it was hard for me to get experienced as a nurse right out of school and experience helps. exspecially in the health field and she is gonna feel glum about.... tell her it aint the end of the world and it happenss to everyone...at least once.....cause it isnt a bad thing....i was fired from my first job :) things will [perk up when she gets another but tell her not to be nervous at all. |

the most important thing in life, is to take personal responsibility and not blame others. she needs to evaluate how she could avoid a similar situation. when she gets another job, she needs to be sure to ask questions if she is unsure so this doesn't recur.. |

first of all be honest on why she got fired, face it and go on with her life. Don't feel bad it's not the end of the world, she's young and life is a lesson. Whatever mistake was made learn from it for her next job and be the best at what she does. Be willing to listen and accept her wrong and just change them as they come up. Everything happens for a reason, look at it being a better job for her out there some and this is a step she have to take to get to the top. Just like cllimbing stairs. You have to crawl before you can walk. There's a long way to go. Just slow down and learn. |

Let her know that sometimes these things happen for a reason. Tell her God has something better in store for her, to have faith and go out and apply again and she will probably receive an even better position.

You personally can really do very little but have a good conversation with her. I am concerned that you point to the company as the problem, in all actuality it may be. Yet what about her?
What did she learn from the experience? What did she do to get fired? Was the job the right fit for her talents? Did she make efforts to keep her job? Did she fight for it? What she positive and have good attitude? |
