If you are making a deposit at the ATM then a teller is not going to see it so it doesn't make a difference.
And by Bank of America's rules you Will only be able to receive 50% of the deposit until the check goes inside to the bank.
Post dating a check used to be a way to pay a bill on a certain date by placing that date on the check, banks used to watch for this real close and would not cash the check until the date on the check.
Now days if the tell is in a hurry she will likely not even notice the incorrect date and just cash the check. But if she does notice it then it's your banks policies on whether they will cahs the check today or make you wait until tomorrow. |

The ATM machine will not know. If they empty the deposits from the ATM later today and the person who removes the checks from the ATM notices, then they will debit your account. If the person who removes the checks does not notice the date on the check or does not know the deposit was today and not tomorrow, then you will probably be fine. If the check bounces because the funds in the employer's account were not available until tomorrow, expect a big fee from BofA. |

Yes they will. But there will be a hold on the money until it clears. Sign up at your company to have your check automatically deposited into your account, and you won't have any holds on the money. |

They'll accept the cheque. Since cheques take 2 to 3 (and sometimes up to 5!) business days to clear, it's not a problem. |

My bank's day ends at 3:00pm, and any business done after 3:00pm is considered the next business date. Your bank will deposit your check after the day's business has closed. Some banks are 2:00 and others are at 3:00. |

As the others have said, yes, you can definitely cash it today.
However, it my in pending for a day or two. Meaning the money deposited may not be available for withdraws immediately.
The date on the check really doesn't determine when it can be deposited. Doesn't really do much. Maybe some bankers can inform us on its purpose. |

You should not deposit a check until it is good, which would mean tomorrow. It is illegal to issue a post-dated check; your company probably expects you to hold it until tomorrow, and they have only given it to you ahead of time out of courtesy. |

Depends on the bank. Most no because the date is printed with tomorrows date. I have heard some cases where they do just for a deposit, but my luck has been no. |
