My hubbys friend is sponcered by our local shops like our pizza hut and our Office max or and also thats Yager mister I think thats how you spell it. Tehy went in and talked to the local stores owners. and for yager they sent in allot of pics w/ them drinking it. Yager pays for equipment the rest gas and what ever else is needed. |

No, seriously. My cancer center raises $10,000 a year for cancer research through many small fundraisers:
1) many businesses will let you work for charity, like a certian famous ice cream place where you can mix candies in with ice cream.
2) Sell something every month. Something DIFFERENT every month. Candy is great, candles are nice, recipe books, coupon books etc etc.
3) Jars around town for people's spare change.
4) car wash
5) garage sale. |

If your band waited to the last 2 weeks to start fund raising, you should all plan on staying home or hitting up your parents for the funds.
Large school trips are usually planned far in advance. You should have been having all sorts of fund raisers. Things like bake sales, car washes, and even selling candy. |

Put out an e-mail blast to all your contacts asking for any ideas/donations.
Post an add on Craig's List. You can also look for temp. work under gigs.
Visualize yourselves actually completing your goal, it helps.

Try your local grocery store and dept chains if there are any big companies ask them You will be surprised at the response Try any prominent Lawyer firms too! You don't have much time so you better get started! Just make calls tell them who you are what school you attend what you are trying to accomplish, how much you need to make give a real good story and would they be interested in a tax deductible donation. You also can make a call to the local paper and they would print the story right away
