Need more MONEY. I got a job, but spend more than what I take in. Lottery doesn't work for me.?

will the first thing you need to know is that you need to stop playing the lottery. you have better odds of getting hit by lighting than actually wining. second look for a new job that pays more money (if you don't have a college degree consider going back to school its never too late). a colloge degree is basically you ticket to higher paying job market. if you already have a college degree consider improving your skill maybe through a masters or prof. certificates. also if you are not willing to spend the effort try looking for a part time job or seasonal jobs. try budgeting as well, if you smoke (for god sake stop).

Of course the lottery doesn't work for you. It's a ripoff and a waste of your money. After you stop paying for that, make yourself a budget and look at exactly where your money is going - take account of everything. We all have to learn to live within our means, and barring getting a better job, you will have to make it work.

You need fewer expenses or a second job.

Hi. Lottery odds work in favor of the lottery. Period. Look at what you spend and avoid spending against future earnings. If you only make x dollars, only spend x dollars minus what you put in savings. Repeat. Minus what you put in savings. Save something every week. $20 a week is $1000 after a year.

look at all aspects of your spending. Are you doing all you can to make sure and get the most for your pruchases, can you cut corners to save some money? start investing and have your money work for you.

Gambling could be fun but you could be worse off as the house usually wins!

You need a second job -- or learn what "budget" means.

You can get a credit card, but you still have to pay for what you buy.
If its money for necessities like food there are organizations that can help you. If you want money for things you don't need, then you'll need to work enough to maintain your lifestyle.

Set a budget. Only buy necessary items. No real need for the latest in HDTV or a PS3. Is that more important than food and clothes? Pay for those things first. Put more money into your bank account. If you have more than one credit card, see if you can get rid of one. Don't buy expensive stuff when you can go for the cheap stuff. It's just as good (sometimes better) and much less expensive. And don't buy lottery tickets or gamble. An extreme waste of money. What are the chances of you winning?

Get another job, a better paying job, stop spending more money than you can afford!!!

Get another job...more money less time to spend the money. Also, identify your worst 3 spending habits and put an immediate stop to them. Such as, buying clothes on credit, eating lunch out everyday, drinks at the club (have a couple at home before you get there), expensive gifts for anyone, driving a lot (carpool or combine trips). And don't believe you're the only one spending more than you make! Many people are so don't try to keep up with them.
