Not sure where to post this?
ive recently decided i want to go to school to become a nurse, but my husband and i do not have any extra money to pay for it (exactly why i want to go to school and get a better job). so what id like to know is what kinds of loans are out there? we dont have any money to spare so its not like we can pay now and get reimbursed later, or pay now and wait months for a check. what about a personal loan? are those fairly easy to get approved for? im trying to think of anything that would help me start school asap. any suggestions or information would be greatly appreciated

student loans are usually the lowest interest. Go to the FAFSA website and do some research.

you need to apply through your school for financial 'Aid and they will tell you what you qualify for Good Job for you going back to school and also good Luck to you :)

The first thing you need to do is go talk with the counselor at the school you want to attend. She can tell you all about the different loan options and grants that you might qualify for. The information is free and you might be surprised at what you learn.

First of all, congratulations on wanting to become a nurse and better your life. The federal government in conjunction with banks helps to provide very low rate loans for students. Just go to any nursing school in your area and they will usually direct you to the forms you would fill out to apply for one of these loans. The loan money comes fairly quickly. In my experience, these loans are not too hard to get approved for.

Even if a loan is your only option, nursing is such a great high demand profession that you are practically guaranteed a great return on your educational investment. Start visiting nursing schools in your area and talk to their financial aid departments. I think you will be glad you did. Good luck!

You're in luck. Nurses are in demand and hospitals are desperate to get more. If you find a hospital in the area with a nursing school, try looking into having the hospital pay for it. Usually there is a contract involved where you have to work for them for a year or so but if they pay for schooling then it's worth it.

Go the the financial advisor at the school you plan on attending. Financial aid, grants and scholarships may all be available and you probably won't have to pay any of them back if you maintain a good GPA.
Even if you have to take out some student loans you pay them off little by little like every other college graduate out there.

I'm not too sure about loans, but you should check into grants. You'd be suprised, they have grants out there for some random things.

Go to the nursing school, community college, or wherever you plan to enroll. Speak to the Financial Aid staff. They can direct you in the right direction for (FREE!) grants, student loans, and even scholarships, and no, you don't have to be a teen ager to recieve any of them! Generally, student loans do not have to be repaid until you have graduated and have been working for a specific amount of time. The amount of the loan might be scary, but the income you can generate as an LPN (one year certificate) or RN (three plus years of school) is WELL worth the cost of the loan.

Go to the sallie mae website. they do lots of student loans. also, talk to the school you are thinking of attending and they can help you out a ton!

There are tons of loans you can get. Do not get a personal loan. Apply to school, when you are accepted, go to the financial services and get an application for students loan called a fasfa and any other loan or scholarship info you can find, fill it out and send it in. If you work for a hospital they pay your way through school, but if you do not send in as many financial things as you can. Do it soon, things take forever. You might be able to get a pale grant, work loan, where you work for the school couple hours a week, whatever. There are tons of ways to pay for school....

Any school you apply to should help you apply for student loans and grants. Just make an appointment to talk to their Financial Aid Dept.
You can try this. They don’t ask for a credit card or any money, like the scam sites. You won’t get rich though. It’s about $100 per week. They pay by Paypal and check. I have posted pictures of Paypal payments I have received, as proof.
