You need to call your bank. The machine might not have had enough cash to give you however much you needed. If you call them they should be able to clear things up. |

Call the bank in the morning. They will be able to straighten it out. The money will still be there. They know exactly how much is going in and out. |

Talk to your bank. |

Since the banks were closed today, you need to call your bank first thing in the morning and explain what happened. Someone has to balance the ATM machine every business day, so they will be able to tell that you did not get your money. Be sure to call your landlord and explain what happened and that you are working with the bank to fix the problem and get him/her the rent money.
As a side note to A Kinder, Gentler Me....banks in the U.S. were closed today for a federal holiday so it wouldn't have been possible for her to go into the bank! And ATM machines screw up a lot more than people realize. People not getting their money, even though it took it out of their account happens quite a bit! |

Call your bank right away. Every ATM has a number and a history; it has to be "balanced" all the time. Your bank will ultimately be able to find out if that machine was out of balance, and kept your money |

Keep your statement, call the bank and let them know what happened. As long as you have proof that you didn't receive the funds they' should be able to help you. |

your fine, the atm company, you need to contact them, they have a #800 on the machine and they will count the money that is supposed to be in there and there will be extra and it will get all sorted out..happened to me once...just a big big hassle now |

you need to call the customer service number on the atm machine. or contact someone about it, asap! |

Are you sure that you put your card into a real machine? Fraudsters have been known to set up fake machines that behave just like that.
Go to the bank next morning and get them to sort it out. You can probably also check your balance online if you had signed up for the service. |

The ATM was being serviced at the time you attempted to make your withdrawl. The transaction was unavailable at that time because the bank has to turn off the ATM to service it.
If you did not get the money from the ATM even though it said the transaction was completed, go back to the bank with your receipt and tell the bank manager. They will turn off that ATM machine again at the end of the day and balance it to see if you were telling the truth or not about getting the money. |

Talk to the bank. Most ATM's have camera's on them and they can review the tapes/pictures if they don't believe you didn't get your money. |

just ring up your bank, even the 24 hour no, and tell them the machine location and approx time you used it,this is all you can do |
|

Lil Wolf

Yes, definitely talk to the bank manager. There is CCTV outside of the bank that should prove that you didn't physically withdraw the money. |

There's a number on the ATM machines to report faults. Note the location and which machine you attended, and please keep the ATM slip for your records. Do that as soon as you can because they will then check the machine and the machine will show that the amount it was supposed to dispense is not the same as it gave out, so you will be able to get a refund on your account. But do it straight away. |

I think you're lying. Who wouldn't have went into the bank and complained?! Those are all videotaped anyway...they should be able to see IF you didn't get your money. |

you should not have left the atm machine you should have stayed right there and went inside or if they werent open you should of stood right there and called the bank 24 hour hot line. if you didnt do either you need to call them like right this second. because if it says you got the money out there is no way of the bank knowing if you really did or not and if you wait a couple days or even just a couple hours they will think you are lieing so go call them right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
