I'm not sure what sites you are talking about, but I have numerous websites I manage and am part of several trustworthy "referral" programs, of which I get money when someone clicks or buys, etc. Those places have my business checking account number so they can do direct deposit of the money I earn each month. These referral sites won't take a credit card because they really can't "deposit" money that you earn into them. At least that's why mine need bank account info. It's too much trouble and expense for them to write out a check, put it in an envelop, put a stamp on it and mail it to you. Much easier to do direct deposit into a bank account. For what it's worth regarding security, anytime you write a check to someone, your bank account info is on the check anyway (usually your name, address, the bank's name, the routing number, and your account number on the bottom). |

You answered your own question. Why CAN'T they just send you the money? If they were legitimate the obvious answer is they could! |

dude. It's a scam. Get this through your skull now and once and for all: "There's no such thing as easy money!"
If there is, it's probably too good to be true, or you have to do something highly immoral. You want money, you should work for it like the rest of us. |

Sending people cash in the post costs a lot more than electronically sending someone money. This is the reason the do it via the internet.
The thing you have to ask yourself however is whether you should trust the company you give your details to. |

They need your bank account info so they can rob your account. |

I wouldn't do it. Its probably a scam aimed at trying to get your information to steal your identity. Its not worth the trouble. |

its a scam! don't do it! They will take your money! And its legal because its in the terms and conditions. Read them very carefully on things like this when you give out info bc it probably says they can take it if they want to. |

I was wondering the same thing. I wouldnt take the risk of putting your info in there. Your better of "earning" money a different way . And plus most site that do those money earning things you have to earn points by joining sites-- these are insecure sites that have pop-ups, and you can get tons of viruses |

some of them do but some of them don't. They need it so that they can see how you spend your money. If you spend your money wisely you may earn more money. Do they ask for your credit info/score? Your bank info is all they need to access your credit score. |
