You should be able to. I've cashed checks before signed by another and myself. In the future have the other party sign, then above their signature print "Pay to the order of (YOUR NAME)". |

If it's made out to Mr. Harold Smith and Jane Doe you must both sign it.
If it's made out to Mr. Harold Smith or Jane Doe, only one has to sign it.
Since he already signed it, you should be fine once you sign it. |

yes, most banks will cash it as long as both sign the back, even if only one is present...... but it would probably be best if you wait to sign the check in front of the teller and make sure you have two forms of ID..... good luck......... |
