Let your landlord know today that you will need a few extra days to raise the extra $200. Pay them what you have now, and then pay them the $200 as soon as its feasible.

Some church groups will assist a person in need. If you are a member of a church, ask a member of the clergy. Other options include family, or an advance on your pay from your job. The real issue, though, is why you are $200 short a day before the rent is due. That's an indication that you are not spending your money wisely. Develop a budget and stick to it. Prioritize correctly and you will find that rent is FAR more important than ... going out to eat, for instance. |

I suggest that you talk with someone that is close to you and you trust. They may not help you with the money, which is what I would reccommend, but they can help in other ways.

Ask the landlord for a couple days extension then sell some things of yours to make up the money. Hope everything works out. You could also sell some of your jewelry to a pawn shop, if you need the money right away. |
