Scam emails from so called BARCLAYS?
I get 2 or 3 emails from so called Barclays Bank on my emails asking me to confirm my bank details by login in on the link given on the email.
how can I stop this scam.
Its not from Barclays Bank at all.Its a scam
Ok the first thing to do is to ignore half the answers on here! No bank will ever email you in this way or ask you for all of your security information so these are scam 'phishing' emails designed to try and get security information from customers. thousands of these emails are sent every day to random email addresses so you have not been personally or purposely targeted. the banks are constantly working to stop these websites and criminals but it is a huge job.
DO NOT click through to the link (it may install a trojan or similar on to your computer which can give criminals access to your PC), DO NOT reply to the email and of course DO NOT ever give away any of your log in details for ANYTHING to ANYONE.
the best thing to do is to ignore the email. you can forward it to internetsecurity@barclays.co.uk which will help the bank to keep track of the latest scam emails so they can act to shut down the fraudulent website and protect their customers. then delete it!

We all get them as far as I know there is not a lot you can do other than put them in your spam folder and delete them in bulk.
They are also from other banks and institutions
me!
report them
Mr curious
Report it straight away.
No banks in the UK or anywhere in the world asks anyone to confirm their bank details over an Email.
Never give out any info.

Well Barclays Bank is a real bank, but obvioulsy this email has nothing to do with them and it's not their fault.
You just need to ignore and delete the emails.

Just keep emailing back info thats crap like Name : Donald Duck Sort Code: 66-66-66 you get the idea then put the words 'big fat hairy ones' at the end. They'll soon get the message. Good Luck and well spotted cos some people may have fallen for that.
