Sherry, you can build a web site for almost nothing with a number of online sources. $50.00 tops!! Don't send these people your money.

A little lesson on life: Presume that everyone is out to screw you and you should stay ahead of th game. Never send money or personal information out. There are plenty of local people you can go to for this type of work and you will have face-to-face contact.

When in doubt ....get out. If you do not feel good about this company...then do not give them your business. Do your research first.

Sounds like a SCAM to me. If you plan a website you need to learn how to use the spell checker too. AND no don't use a credit card either. They are taking you for a ride.

It's not that uncommon of a request, actually. I do a lot of work with overseas companies, and many of them prefer to work this way.

It all comes down to pure business. Ask for business referrals and if u are satisfied with the answers and the reputation.. go for it. Make sure that U have agreements signed and define the scope of work before hand.
