Should I gamble all my savings money then file for bankruptcy?

No use all your savings money to buy a weapon and some gear, then go rob the nearest bank. Do it in the morning, during the week say on a Tuesday, don't wear a mask, use a note. Make sure you use two cars one to get you to the bank and the other to make your getaway. Then call me from Mexico.

Edit: Whoever said savings accounts make 5% interest is incredibly uninformed. Interest on most accounts is .035% Unless you have thousands of dollars CD's (certificate of deposit) only make about 4%.
PS. I work at a financial institution.

yes first get it all in chips at a casino so theres no refund
then go and join the high rollers
if you get lucky you live like a *****
and if you dont well then file for bankruptcy like you said

Why would you do that? Bankruptcy destroys your credit. Yes your debt goes away, but at the expense of it being on your credit history forever and beyond. I hope you don't intend on buying a house, a car, renting or anything that requires a credit check, even switching cell phone companies. Therefore, I would say NO!

Why would you want to do that? Sounds way immature. Grow up and accept responsibility.

Dr. Phil
Only if you've got a system. If you don't have a system, get one, then do it.

kja63
If you think that is the wise thing to do, by all means......

Are you nuts? No ;)

Instead of gambling your money away why don't you just slowly take it out of the bank and hide it in a shoe box ..that way atleast you will still have your money but only you will know...gambling at a casino is a big scam you might as well just walk in and give them your money and go home..

first off do you have children? If not then do society a favor and never reproduce. there is a big difference between banckrupcy and just plain broke.

You have got to be joking...bankruptcy isnt fun and it last for yrs. Dont do something you will regret.

David M
You must be joking.

Bankruptcy laws have changed so don't think it is as easy to get off the hook. More importantly, the bankruptcy will haunt you for 7 years - you won't even be able to buy a tv on credit!

No point in gambling it away and no point in wanting to file bankruptcy.

I am certain you are more intelligent that that. Your Savings should be earning about 5% interest in a savings institution or in a MM account. By taking some more risk you may be able to do a little better, in other investments. Bankruptcy as you have heard is not a very pleasant experience and it takes 7 years to get it off you record. And then you may have to repay the monies owed. Think again 5 % is a better return.

tabubaby
Yes, that's a very smart thing to do.

The Financial Group where I have all my savings from retirement, have filed BANKRUPCY, can you advise me what to do to, considering that to File Bankrupcy is somehow legally protected by the Government and I don't money to pay for a lawyer. Thanks, for your prompt attention
