Should I trust PayPal?
I want to buy and sell stuff on eBay, I have a Chase account. Should I trust paypal with my checking bank account? I am not up for any frauds.

I believe that Paypal is ebay preferred shop cart for it's sellers. That should tell you that Paypal is the real deal. No company is perfect however I've never had nor heard any fraud issues with them.

To your Success,

Paypal is a reliable way to send/accept credit cards without revealing the number.

It's a tried and true method and works hand in hand with ebay.

So yes, you should trust them.

I use it and it has been reliable so far. I think it is much safer than trusting checks from people you don't know.

i do not trust paypal, but i trust the individual sellers even less. the problem with using paypal is that they dont fight for you if you have a problem with the seller. i had an experience where i bought a pair of shoes (supposed to be brand new never worn), and they came used. the seller wouldnt give my money back, and paypal didnt give me anything either. so they are both bad. ebay is a bad place to buy. i suggest in store or online at a good solid well-known store.

if your question was whether or not you can trust paypal with your info, then yes. you can.

Yes, you can trust them. They've had my bank account information for years and I've not had a problem. It's very reliable and secure.

Even if you do get scammed by Ebay, you'll get your money back, that happend to my friend, he bought something, got scammed, but he money returned back to his account.

I've used it several times. Once I paid for something and was scammed. Paypal refunded my money.

my uncle works at PayPal and i don't trust him. does that help?

Ya-sai
I've never used it, but my friends do and have never had a problem. Just once, one friend somehow entered someone else's account.....

asouthernchic
I know some people that do it and don't have a problem with it. But in this day and age, you can't really trust anyone or anything. Good luck with your decision. By the way, I wouldn't.
