Recently i noticed three one dollar holds from companies i've never head of. It's similiar to the hold that would be posted when you sign up for a free trial but i haven't subscribed to anything lately. The last three things i've bought with my card online were from iTunes, Wal-Mart, and Overstock. Nothing else this month. I delete all e-mail scams unread and use anti-spyware frequently. I know the charges disappear after a few days, already the first one has been removed, but now i worry that i'll get a big bill in a month. The three charges are from Direct Discount Club, LT Savings Program, and Advantage Direct. Anyone else having the same problem? BTW, I bank with Citi. |

Yes call the bank 24 hours hot line and report in comprised if possible. Then go to the bank on Tuesday if possible and dispute those charges. The charges may still go through.
Also if you can not get through to your banks hot line you can try
MasterCard or Visa hot line. This hot line will only work if your debit card has a MasterCard or Visa symbol on it. You will need to know your card number.
Visa hot line is 1-800-847-2911.
MasterCard hot line is 1-800-627-8372
In case the bank gives you a problem. Look at the Ftc website and MasterCard and/or Visa zero liability protection |

I wouldn't take any chances. Cancel your card and get a new one as soon as possible.....like yesterday. Please don't wait or you could be the victim of identity theft. |

If you haven't signed up for anything, it sounds like someone has gotten a hold of your card info and is using it. I would get a new card and possibly change your account numbers as well. My bank card number was stolen from a third-party company paid to run credit card info for a store that I used to shop at, so it can happen anywhere. I would definitely talk to your bank and get it taken care of. |

by all means replace that card! If you don't you may be sorry. It's a dollar now, but dollars add up. A dollar now and maybe 5,10,50,100,etc. later! |

Absolutely! Call your bank and report this and cancel the card!
These companies sound like scams. Like when you respond to a survey, and they sign you up for their inexpensive, easy to cancel, monthly service, with a free trial offer! These are impossible to get out of. And since the card is your debit card, instead of your credit card, they can clean you out, and there will be nothing you can do about it. |

In India private banks add hidden charges and send collection agents, only way to stop this harassment is to ask for statement of account ,if they dont give contact a lawyer and send legal notice. These banks avoid giving cards to lawyers and chartered accountants. |
