Should women be allowed to withdraw money without permission from their man?

Her allowance should be kept in a cookie jar on top of the refrigerator. Why would she even have access to the bank account?

slgraff✪✪
Sure, but there are rules. I can only get money from the bank if I sell Marvin Gardens back or flip it over.

KC
How do I put this?

Yes.

If it's their money, they should be able to withdraw it. If it's not their money, they should not be able to withdraw it, regardless of gender.

If the account is in both names, then it should go both ways,as long as you don't go crazy with it.

Provided the account is titled jointly, then each party has the right to withdraw without permission of the other.

If there is an entitlement issue among the account holders, then I recommend each person keep his and her account separate.

What if they don't have a man? Then they can do all they please.

enoriverbend
Depends on whose money it is and how the account is set up.

But as a general rule, of course they should be able to.

ladybug1006
why do you have such a problem with women's rights? Are you trying to deal with your own 'shortcomings?'

Crawl out of your cave.

next you are going to tell us what kind of underwear we are "allowed" to wear.

When both names are on the account - either one has the legal right to the contents of the account. Now if you are asking if she needs permission because you want to control the money, or your money, then simply never let her have access to your credit cards, bank info, etc. I make thousands more than my husband does, and I would never deny him access to our accounts - are you having a trust issue or a high maint. woman?? either way best of luck

as long as they aren't shopping at walmart.

Why would she need money? What can she buy inside the house? Or are you having a garage sale? That would defeat the purpose.
