You should NOT give up on your dreams because you cannot afford them.
You should give up the following items because you cannot afford your dreams:
Bottled water
Coffee drinks
All you can talk cell phone service (pre-pay works just fine)
Premium cable TV services
New cars (a good used car will cost around 20% less, and it gets you where you want to go just fine)
Buying lunch out instead of brown bagging it
Dining out too often (or at all)
Buying DVDs, Books, or video games (Blockbuster, Netflix, or you local library are better choices.)
Designer clothing and fancy shoes
Anything that comes from a convenience store or vending machine. Buy it in bulk on sale, and bring it with you.
Take a serious look at where your money goes, and STOP spending money on the unnecessary BS, and you will find out real fast that you can in fact afford your dreams.

There is something called reality you have to consider to temper your dreams with. If you think that what you want will just be handed to you on a silver platter, you should give up the dream. But if it is something that is really worth it to you, and you're willing to work for it, I see no reason to give it up. For instance, if you're wanting to start your own business, you might have to work at a job and work your business on evenings and weekends until you really get it going or can show a bank you have something worth getting the loan you need to get started. If it is something you really love and you are committed, why give it up? |

Jonathan, first of all why are you unable to afford your dreams ?
Have you really searched for a way to achieve those dreams and maybe got lost along the way ? The last thing you want is to be on your death bed saying "I wish I had" it is better to say "I am so happy I did it" please do try go ahead and get to your dream destination, if you need help to get there, ask for it from those people whom have already done it/got it and maybe they really can/will help you and dont listen to anyone who tells you you are a dreamer.
Listen to like minded people with the same dreams and work together with these type of people and achieve that/those dreams together. Okay ?

You should try harder to get the money to buy the dreams any means nesscary short of blatantly and openly violating the law.
Even if you need to lie and cheat some, bend a couple laws, ignore some, and skirt around codes and rules, you should never give up your dreams.
dreams is what makes life worth living, giving up means giving up on life. it also means that you lost and society won, society is the type who beat someone while their down.
I sold some stuff without a stack of the proper paperwork and taxes (permits, licensing) and made 1900 dollars tax free income in 8 days. I make 158 dollars a week normally. |

Never, there is always a way to raise money to fund your dream you just have to be creative at getting the money. For instance if you have bad credit and cannot get a loan have a yard sale or write letters to your local community stores and shops and ask for sponsorship, or you could even find people who are already doing your dream and ask them what steps they took to get there and you never know someone might take you under their wing. |
