Try a debt consolidation service. You didn't give much information so I don't know if you can't pay your bills because you are out of work or because you have too many bills and not enough income, etc. Wish I could provide more insight. |

First of all, apply for child support ASAP. If you can't find your child father than hire a private investigator to do a google search and you'll break even in no time.
Don't feel guilty because I bet he doesn't feel guilty for putting you through this. Go for the jugular. If you think he doesn't have the money file now so they'll garnish his wages or they'll start looking at back pay.
Otherwise, public aid, I hate to say it but that's what it's there for.
Sorry you have to go through this. Keep your spirits high for your child. It doesn't take much to raise a child but a loving mom. I admire your drive and determination. I can't imagine how you do it. |

quit spending vast sums of money like most women do would be a great start!! lol
instead of $100 jeans at the mall what about $20 ones a kmart?
and if you have a 10 mile to the gallon suv that's bigger than most semi trucks like most women want trade that thing off for a geo that gets 40 miles to the gallon and save some serious bank. GAS IS GOING OVER $3 A GALLON THIS SUMMER BABY!! you can quote me on that. |

Have you tried askin local churches for help? A lot of them around here have programs to help pay rent or electric for singe parents. It doesn't matter if you are a member or not. You do usually have to bring proof of income and bills though. You can also try your local Red Cross unit. Sometimes they have funds to help pay bills. Also call your local Dept of Human Services. They usually know all the place to get help with paying bills. Good luck! |

call a place that is a debt/credit counseling service. they are usuallly free and can often help lower interest rates and possibly combine your bills into one monthly bill. it takes longer to pay off but in your situation it may be worth it. |
