no doctors can't be billionaires, the only way a doctor of some sort can be a billionaire would be if a surgeon would have no expenses, and save up all the money they make until retirement, and they'd have to win quite a few lotteries, even still, i doubt they'd make a billion, cause don't they make $200 000-$300 000? its a lot, but i doubt would make you a billionaire, but a millionaire? yea. but family doctors would make less. |

Or invest lots in hedge funds and hit it really lucky.

I suppose a Dr could become a billionaire, but not likely from medicine. If they used their earnings to invest in businesses or the stock market, it's possible.
I would say it's more possible to become fairly wealthy, but not a billionaire. There are over 1,000 billionaires in the world now, which is awesome, but out of 6 billion people, your chances are pretty low.
Why not just start a business and work at it to earn a good profit. |

Read some books on economic wealth, make as much money as you can now, and sink as much of it as you can in the things everyone else is selling off in the stock market and in real estate right now (but do it with intelligence by doing your own research).
Don't waste your money on CDs, video games, and all that other junk people waste their money on rather than saving it and making smart purchases that will benefit them later in life.
Buy things you know you will need throughout life, things that last long for their worth, and things that can repair or aid in the repair of what you do buy. Don't buy things that are in style and will be replaced with new technology tomorrow (instead use someone else's if you must)!
Live beneath your means (not at your means or above).
Oh yeah, and when you make a few million or billion remember me and kick me a little... |

Save as much money as possible then invent a time machine. Collect all the financial data possible, stock market share prices, etc. for the last 40 years and transfer it to CD. Research all scores from sporting events and transfer them to CD. Take your bankroll,PC or lap top, get in your time machine and set it for the year 1969. After arriving in 1969, start investing and gambling like crazy. You'll be a billionaire in no time. Just to kill some time, try to get in touch with Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison and tell them they may want to lightin' up on the drugs and alcohol. Have fun.. |
