Well Amway works to a point. Most people who fail did not recruit enough people and did not work hard enough. I personally know a few people who has done Amway. They make nothing hardly. I also met this one guy out one night that told me he was making $60,000 a year. Sales is not for everyone, it requires hard work and consintency. The people I know tried to explain how the compensation program works, it confused the crap out of me. He had been doing it for about 3 months and told me all the work he had already done and was quite excited about it. He had made a wopping $300 and 9 recruits in 3 months. With what I do, if I went out and did business with the same amount of people I would have made $15,000 and pro. recruited 3 - 4 people. I also would had help people set up their game plan to retire with no $0 debt and $400,000 - $3,500,000 to live live on. I see no value in what Amway does personally. Also I don't have to buy stuff and mark it up to turn a profit. Their will always be homeless people because of injury or laziness. |

I don't know if Amway can make you rich or not. However I have a cousin who is really in to her "Amway" business. She sells the Amway products in her own home and when tax time comes around, she categories her home as her "place of business". So almost all of her house bills get a tax deduction. And Amway sometimes have seminars overseas and when my cousin attends those seminars, she gets a tax deduction on the cost of her travels.
I'm not sure but you have to pay a membership fee every year and you have to pay for the products you order from Amway. Homeless people have no money and don't have a great social network to get them a steady income.
Personally I think Amway is shifty, if you are a member and you recruit a new member you get a percentage of revenue for every product they sell. However you need to keep that person loyal otherwise if they quit the Amway business, you lose your revenue income from that person. It's no wonder everytime you talk to a Amway representative they are always trying to get you to join - It's annoying!!! |

I've known people who've got involved with Amway - they start off all excited and enthusiastic about 'the business' but gradually realise their friends are shunning them and eventually they realise they're not going to make any money from it, cos no-one wants to buy the products! |

Amway is a legal pyramid SCAM. Only the original founders are rich my friend.
I worked at a marina in South Haven. MI as a kid, and saw multiple AMWAY yachts come and go all the time, none of them were from people who joined it, only the original owners, the DeVos (the son ran for govenor in the last election) and VanAndel families. |
