They sometimes take a long time to process, which can be really frustrating! Don't count on it not happening - sorry : ) |

Just wait, they are probably slow processing it, or processed it as a credit transaction which takes longer to process. |

dont rely on it not coming off. If it failed and they kept the slip (they always do), then the bank will still take the payment when the systems catch up. |

Nothing - it can take up to 7 days to appear |

These transactions work on an all or nothing system, if there was a complication during it they rollback to its previous state, or it 100% completes. Id sit tite and wait the money will more than likely be taken out in the near future. |

don't get your hopes too high. Because it's festive season, nothing works properly. It will probably go through in a few days... some shops take longer than others to process your card. If not, wehey!! |

certainly if chip and pin it will have come off phone the ccard company ask them to check your authorisations it can take up to seven days for the merchant to have authority to take the funds for it to be processed. it the merchant has made a mistake and not processed it say nothing. |

leave enough money in that account for the near future.. to be safe.. and then it would be safe to assume that the company messed up.. and it isn't really your responsibility to go back there and have you card charged correctly.. so just feel lucky. |

Believe it or not they a have a year and one day to take the payment. The card payment may show as an authorisation on the account best to check with your bank. |

Leave it in there!!! If it still hasn't come out by the 3rd then ask the bank - honesty is DEFINATELY the cheapest option here!! |

It will come off eventually. It can take a while at this time of year. |

If you check with the bank, they should be able to tell you if it is pending on your account. It will take some companies longer to process over Christmas and New Year although with chip and pin this is usually fairly quickly. Be warned, although it usually comes off within a couple of days, you have to allow 180 days (6 months) for transactions to appear on your account so please make sure you have the money in there until it has definitely been debited or you will get charged. |

Keep quiet, once you have handed over payment (ie your card) then it is the stores responsibility to confirm payment before you leave the store. If you used a manual card machine, where you had to sign either a receipt or a carbon receipt then they may not have been banked yet. If you did use an Electric Point Of Sale (ie the chip and pin machine) then you are one of the lucky ones (as it is the bank supplying the service that has to pay up if there are mistakes) that had a transaction go "missing" during the normal meltdown of the EPOS banking system during this time of year. |

It depends on when they run their batch. Someone may have messed up and it will never clear. I would leave the funds there for a while, just to be safe. Ask your bank what their policy is on how long a vendor has to send it through. With my bank I can look on-line and see what is pending and what has posted. |

wait till the transaction goes through. no one has forgotten about your purchase, just alot of busy phone lines this year. DO NOT SPEND THE MONEY, as you will be charged a bunch of fees for this mistake, that would be your own.. as a consumer you will find this happens with banks also. OH and if you have ever waited for a refund --ever--- this is like the reverse of that...LOL you know what i mean |
