I've never had a problem and some banks actually prefer you to have direct deposit b/c it's guaranteed money in their institution. HR employees are required by law to keep your banking information confidential, so if someone were to break that trust, then they're pretty much termintated right then and there! |

I've NEVER had any trouble with direct deposit for my paychecks. I've been doing it for 5 years with my current company.
It's also cheaper for your company to do it that way. |

Direct deposit is actually a good thing. The money is in the account on a payday and all available immediately. There will be no problems. This is all very regulated stuff and your company would be crazy to anything with your bank account number other than depositing your paycheck.
I use direct deposit and paperless paystub. Works perfectly. |

Are you crazy? that is the fastest way for you to get your money. I used to get paper checks and they would not come in my home until Thursday the latest. The payroll dept. will not steal your information. It is safe or else why are you working there if you don't like your company? |

Well...I have personally never had a problem with direct deposit working correctly, but I worked for ADP for a few years and we had clients and employees call in once in a while, complaining that their money had been deposited to the wrong account! My suggestion: go ahead and have your checks direct deposited, it's so much easier than having to worry about going to the bank every paycheck, however, when you submit your account information to your payroll person at work, make sure it is CLEAR and LEGIBLE! Very important-that's why most people have problems with direct deposit not working correctly. |

none... it works out SWEEEEET. you don't have to worry about being on vacation and not having our paycheck n the bank... poof, it's there.
when payday falls on Monday, your's is usually in the bank after 6 on friday.
20 years my husband's company has done it... never a problem! |

Direct Deposit is the best way to go. Never have had any problems and have been using it for over 13 years. Always have gotten my paycheck on time with direct deposit.
Never had to worry about Snow storms or 9/11 delaying the mail cause company outsource payroll and paychecks could not get through, with direct deposit my money was in my account on payday. |

It is a great way to get paid. You never have to worry about losing your check or having it stolen and even if you are out of town on payday, the money is there. I think most companies do it that way today. |

Direct Deposit is a wonderful thing to have. It depends on the company size, whether things are efficient or not. Small companies may have more problems. It's a step saver because you don't have to go to the bank and wait, it goes in automatically. |

No.But more companies should be doing this as some people are impatient after they deposit their checks. I've deposited checks at Wells Fargo that take almost 2 whole days to clear! |

No, I LOVE direct deposit. It is just so convenient to have the money in my account first thing on payday (or midnight the day before). I don't think you will have any reqrets and you will probably wonder why you didn't do it sooner. |

never had a problem except when 1 maggot i worked 4 didn't have the cash , pretty much every job Ive had in the last 15 years pays by direct bank deposit, which now means you can have a sickie on pay day |
