This is very much a scam. You can't win a lottery without buying a ticket. No one just announces winners from a list of email addresses. Please do not give these people any information.

John C
SCAM! They will soon ask for a bank account number to "wire" the funds to. Then clean out that account. Have some fun with them, play along, give a made up number and bank, play dumb. See how long you can keep them going.

It's a total scam. The documents which will accompany the cheque will instruct you to send money to "process your claim". Of course, if you send the money and deposit their cheque, their cheque will be returned as invalid, and you won't get any thing back, nor will you ever hear from them again.

It is a scam. I've been getting one email a day, similar to that, always a different address, but typed in the same style.

We all are getting those emails.

bdancer222
First, did you entry this lottery?

Second, how did they get your email address to notify you?

Stop opening unsolicited email. You will NEVER find anything of value in that spam. It's all scams and you might just end up with a virus on your computer. You should just delete all spam, unopened.

When you responded, you let them know they had a real email address. Be prepared to get lots and lots and lots of similar scams.
