You can open a second checking account with another bank first, then set up your automatic withdrawal thru this account, wait for a couple of months to make sure your automatic withdrawals go thru, then you can cancel the first account with wachovia. |

Yes, you can go open an account anywhere, but keep the old account open. Only put enough money in the old account to pay the bill, and use the other one for everything else. You can open accounts anywhere and at as many banks as you want. Just keep track! |

Absolutely, you can have as many accounts at as many banks as you like. I currently have three checking accounts (in two Countries) and two savings accounts. Not to mention loan accounts.. ect, ect. |

Yeah. my mother has like 3. One for savings, one for just regular things, and one for my father to send money to and send child support to.
Sometimes having more than one can make organizing money a little bit easier!! |

yes, set up a checking account at the financial institution you want to patronize. But no sense paying fees and money for checks for more than one checking account. After the new checking account is up and runing, have Wachovia take the loan payment out of the new account. Wachovia will want to know the institution's bank routing number and your new account number so bring a blank check of the new account. Once you verify that is happening, close your Wachovia account. |

It's not an issue to have more than one account with more than one bank. It only throws up red flags if you're actually doing something shady. |

You can have as many checking accounts as you want, in whatever banks will accept your business. |

Yes they do suck. But you can set up a new account with a new bank and either change the automatic deduction to the new account of deposit the correct amount from the new one into the Wachovia acct. |

Yes..I have 3
mine
me and the wifes
and hers
It was difficult at first..but we figured out how to balance them all.
The joint account we use for bills
mine for what I want and hers for what she wants. We put 1/2 in our pay each into the joint account.
But I also have a savings and put 1/3 in for vacations.
Of course she has the big bucks..she has control of the cd accounts. |
