You want to start being realistic about being able to save up $10K in 2 years. Most adults have trouble savings that kind of money in that timeframe. At 14, you're not able to get a real job yet... so...
start looking for odd jobs around the neighborhood. Yard work is a good one because a lot of people don't want to do it. A friend of mine growing up made $25 per yard, and that was in the 80's. :)
Once you're 15, go to your school and get a work permit. Some places will hire 15 year olds.
Anytime you get cash (i.e. birthdays, holidays, etc), put it towards your car fund. Don't spend it on other stuff.
Then it's important to SAVE SAVE SAVE... Open a savings account or something like that, where you can deposit the money as you get it. This way the cash won't be in your hand with the tempation to submit it. |

Cut lawns, shovel snow, walk dogs. Do you get money for Christmas, birthdays, allowance? Stash some of it away. Put the word out. Tell your family to tell their friends that you're tying to save and maybe people will have odd jobs for you. Most importantly, start saving. The small amounts will add up by the time you can get a car. |

you need 10,000 just for the down payment? forget it - due to child labor laws, your age restricts the amount of hrs a week you are allowed to work until you're at least 16. a 16 yr old doesn't need a car. You would also have to pay probably 2000/ yr just for car insurance, plus gas, oil, repairs. |

OK i think i have a way why don't you write a book and have it published even if its a children's book, better yet make a series or go to eBay and buy a video game making software and sell it to Microsoft.
