ilovemyboxer | Ways for a preteen to make money? |
I am 11 years old and I need alot of money. I live in a really bad town so I can't trust any people around me. I can't leave the house without an adult either because my town is so bad. I also need alot of money like enough for a twenty five dollar guinea pig with a huge seventy five dollar cage and toys, food, and vet care. So I need a well paying job.
I love animals like any kind of rodents, any kind of dog, and cats. I know alot about every kind of normal animal so that might help I also like little kids. I dont know if I am old enough because I am turning twelve in april. I dont know If i can even babysit at my house either.
Please help I need money!!!!!
Thanks!!!!! |

Well... if you like animals so much why don't you dog sit ? or cat sit or just offer to watch someones animals. Try posting something like an advertisement simple as a poster or something to that affect on a vets office door or pet store bulletin board (usually they have one near the exit) obviously with their permission.. people love reliable, responsible people who love animals to watch their pet for them.. make sure you set a standard rate like 10/h or 20 per night.. whatever you feel good about.
good luck! and happy earning. |

You can clean the laundry rooms of apartment complexes. It's how I started making money when I was 10. I used those funds to purchase popsicles and other treats, and sold them from my kitchen window. It helped fund a trip to Disneyland. |

Well, babysitting ( I don't think you are too young for that, NOT babys though, maybe brothers and sisters) garage sale, I don't know, I mean if you live in a bad town, it's kind of hard, but neighbors, ask them if there's anything you could do to help out for money. Like cleaning attics, mowing yards, shoveling snow, etc... |

I know all about living in bad towns. It's probably not your best chance to get a job out in the community, especially because you can't go out alone or trust other people. But there are a lot of great online job opportunities you might consider. Moola.com is fun if you're good at games. It's free to sign up, and it costs absolutely nothing. Basically, you start off with 1 penny, and by playing games against other people, you can double that penny by winning. As you get more and more money, you can put more up for stake when you play, and possible win more. When you lose, however, you lose the money you've put up. It's a good, fun way to make money, but you can't always be sure of how much you'll make, and how soon.
A more sure way to make money online is Cashcrate . com. It's not as fun, but apparently it works. I can't tell you I've made masses of money using this, because I just signed up today. Basically you take surveys and fill out offers and get payed. There are a lot of websites out there like this one that seriously suck, and you can pretty much guarantee that you won't make much money. But this one is different, and if you're good, you can make a few hundred a month. But you will have to work hard. For this you should make a new email adress and use it only for filling out offers. You will also need to have a cell phone.
The next thing I will tell you is somewhat dishonest, but you won't make money otherwise. You will probably have to lie about your age. For cashcrate, you should say you're at least 18, but for Moola, I believe that you just have to be 13 or older. There really aren't any online (or non-online) ways to make money for anyone of your age, so while I normally wouldn't condone to this, this is probably your best hope. And a few years difference on some online form is definitely better than going out on the street as a prostitute or drug dealer xD
Have fun, and good luck. I hope you get your guinea pig! |

you have to be atleast 16 to get a job anywhere and 18 for some. So I dont know what to tell you. Here are a few ideas:
There are some second-hand stores where you can donate your old toys, clothes, etc. and they sell them and then you get some of the profit.
You could maybe have a yard sell and sell your old stuff but you said you live in a bad town, so unless you have a relative somewhere that would let you have it at their house that wouldn't work.
If you have a talent such as art, or music you could enter a contest.
Since you love animals you could put an add in the paper as a pet sitter, but you would have to ask your parents to take you to the houses.
There is also yard work, or delivering papers |

Chores are surefire.
Lawnmowing, lemonade, etc. are your other options seeing as you have to be 14 for a legal job (IE at McDonalds).
See if you can start a savings account, or invest in stocks. Not short term, but with a savings account you're always earning and you can just withdraw whenever. |

ask around within your parent's friends. they probably have something for you to do like household chores and may pay you for it. |

If you have an older brother or sister, ask them to help. I suggest you take care of someone else's pets. Like a daycare maybe?
Hope I helped! |
