try volunteering to an animal shelter or library or something like that otherwise unless you have good refrences or someone to reccommend you there is little to no chance a real, legal, job will hire you without any of that |

I know it not fair to young people today to earn some pocket money ... but heres a few ideas and maybe a better idea might come from these.
Exercise peoples dogs, washing cars, bathing peoples pets, offer to help do cleaning jobs for people (specially the elderly as they don't mind paying young people to do some jobs for them in and around the house). Offer to go to local shops to get things for them. Some small businesses that are operated by the owner will pay young pople to help stack shelfs and do cleaning.
Hope some of those ideas might help, or make the brains of others work a little harder to come up with ideas for you |

well, i am kind of in the same position as you, cause i am 14 and people don't really hire 14 year olds. i am going to send an application to kroger to be a possible bager. you could do a gas station type job, if your friends parents own a resterant or something, ask to work with them. |

Bookstores if you like to read! Work at the grocery store. Hard to find a high paying job when you are underage. |

IF you find out tell me... Ahh you can go on www.craigslist.com and look for cars and lie the people and say your grandmother has cancer and needs a new leg or something and get it cheap and make like 100% profit try that works for me sometimes |

Car washing. I used to get loads of money doing that. Take your own bucket, cleaning liquid, cloths etc and ask for water at the house. Either set a rate or ask for them to give you what they think is appropriate |

this isn't year round, but in the summer you can try being a junior camp counselor. there are many day camps and sleepover camps that allow young teens to work there. it would be really fun and creative, too, and you get paid okay. also, many classes with kids - art classes, cooking classes, etc. - love to have teens as assistants. i suggest going to your local art center or sports center and asking if they have any positions for teen assistants. in addition, tutoring is a GREAT way to earn money. go to the nearest elementary school and speak with the principal - i'm sure he/she would love to let you set up a tutoring program for kids who need help. |

Start making things like DIY purses or jewelry and sell them on Ebay or craigslist. That way, you can make money and get to show your creativity at the same time. |
