Its a two week trip to france and it costs 2,749 dollars not including spending money and emergency money. My dad comitted to 400 cause he isn't making alot right now. Do a large car wash at an auto parts store. (Autozone is usually really good about it) Typically, they donate all of the products and their parking lot. Round up some friends and sign up for a Saturday. Depending on the weather and location you can make anywhere from $200-$600. Bottle drives also work pretty well. People are very willing to donate bottles but it takes awhile to get a lot. Getting a job is also a very good idea. Try to save as much as possible. |

You could get a "real job" over the summer and winter holidays. Try the mall or another retail store that pays a good amount. If you save all of it, you could come pretty close by January. |

Well, your job should make you enough if you don't spend it. Remember, it's not what you make, it's what you spend. In the meantime, how about a garage sale? That should get you a couple of hundred. |

You'll probably need about $50/day spending money, for your trip, which puts your total closer to $3600, minus the $400 from Dad, you'll need to raise $3200 over the next 8 months. That averages out to $400/month or $100/week. A steady babysitting job would be ideal especially if you can get $10 or $12 per hour, which is what I pay mine. What about tutoring? Are you good in any particular subjects? There's also cleaning houses or apartments if you live in a city. I pay someone $50 to clean my one bedroom apartment and it takes her about 2 hours. If you live in the suburbs, there's mowing lawns and shoveling snow. Hey, how about a garage sale?

One time i had a trip to washington D.c that cost 1000 dollars and i did the following things to help me.
1. I went to the schools main office and asked for letterheads so i can right letters to companies saying i need donations for a school trip. The key is to say it is an expensive school trip and ask for money saying your help raising and they can usually sponser you. I actually got a couplde stores and raised 400 dollars just because of that.
2. You can start a yard sale or go to a local flee market and set up a stand and sell some items.
3.Can ask family member such as grandparent/parents/aunt and etc. for use of money for this trip.
4.ALso you can mow lawns and help neighbors with other things and since you said its your birthday you probably will collect earnings from that..

So you need to make about $2300 in six months? Tall order for a 15 year old. Try this, have a yard sale (actually try to do this 2 or three times) and advertise the fact that you are trying to raise enough money to go on a class trip. You can even probably get friends and family to donate "stuff' for the yard sale. Anyway, when people stop, tell them what you are doing and why. In addition to the yard sale proceeds, have a "donation" jar somewhere. You'll probably get some bucks there. |
