speaking from experience, being rich is incredible. I live on a pension below the poverty line but my bills are paid, I make myself a cooked meal every day, I afford to run a small car and my family never goes without birthday/Christmas presents. That's real riches. I've been the other sort too and the most memorable things it brought were unhappiness and divorce. Sometimes it takes experiencing a situation before you appreciate how pointles it is. Just be happy and you'll aways be wealthy |

Secret of money is that if you think you are poor you will remain poor.The moment you start thinking you are rich and you are becoming richer day by day really flow of money to you will start.Think and grow rich.Self affirmation will help.Daily tell hundred times that you are rich and becoming richer day by day to yourself .Repeat a few times before you go to sleep.Develop friendship with richer people(richer than you).You utilise your spare time.Start something that requires small capiltal ,like writing for paper,brokerage services etc.You will become rich.Be confident.Good Luck |

People try to be your friend because they want your money.
Every place you go, people try to sell you stuff.
When you do try to buy something and you know what you want, the salesperson tries to push something on you that costs $90,000 more...for gum?!?!?!??!?!
When you call your bank they try to push high level services on you.
You're paranoid of people because you think they all want to use you.
You never answer the phone because it's always a solicitation.
You don't dine out because a $50 meal becomes a $250 meal, drinks not included.
You fire your housekeeper because she steals from you and thinks you won't notice.

The best way not to worry about money is to make a decent salary and live within your means. |

My life is rich, and it's great. I'm blessed. Oh yeah, and I'm stinkin' wealthy, too.
The key is to give. Be a giver. Tithe. (10% of your Gross to the Church) and give offerings. Give money to the panhandlers even if you think they'll just use it for booze. Buy girl scout cookies even if you don't want them. Pay the bridge toll for the car behind you. I'm not taliking about when you have money, do it even when it's a hardship for you. Pay cash for everything and keep your credit cards below 30% of the maximum.
If you're married, have the mom stay home and take care of the kids. It may seem like you need the second income, but the investment in your kids will pay off in financial blessings for the provider of the household.
Money traps: Boats, RVs and hobby vehicles. Before buying stuff that makes you feel like your rich, consider the total cost and how often you'll use it. (i.e. you buy a $40K boat and use it 3 times a year - The same boat if you rent would cost you maybe $3K. How many years would it take for the boat to pay for itself?)
It's all about changing the way you think. Less than 7 years ago our finances were out of control and we worked so hard we never had time for our kids. Now, only one of us works, we own our own home, have rental property, and take vacations whenever we feel like it. We also set reachable financial goals, like buying a summer home and an RV when we are able to pay cash. Well, we bought the RV, and are looking at property in the Lake Tahoe area for our vacation home.
Oh yeah, 5 years ago our household brought in the most money ever, and we were working ourselves to death. Now, we don't make much at all but we don't have a bunch of debt, either.
We believe God has blessed us for our good stewardship of what we do have and obedience to tithe and give offerings. |

It's great i will never be poor as i live on the interest on my money.The interest i receive is in excess of £30,000 per month
and i can live very comfortably on this amount.I recently gave £5million to charity and although i won't miss the money i still felt good for doing that.The only downside is going 1st class all the time restricts you from meeting ordinary people.OH well got to dash I'm off to the Bahamas for a few days. |
