I sell vintage stuff which I buy from second hand shops...the best profit I have ever made was £30.00 for some 1050s christmas ornaments...I buy a lot of things like this...not antiques but vintage and retro stuff...I love so many of them that I cannot always bear to part with them...this year I got some amazing ornaments for xmas but kept them! I paid 20p for an old Christmas tree fairy which I know will fetch in excess of 30 pounds...I'll sell it next year...maybe. |

My daughter used to do beauty pageant(kid) and i have always resold her dresses and accessories on ebay...once i sold a irish dance dress she used for talent and ended up getting $50 more than what i payed for it...it depends on how you make your ad and how in demand the are the items youre selling.. i'd say overall ive made at least close to $1000 profit on everything ive sold over the past 2 years but im not a serious seller...just want to get money back for things i've already bought |

I sold a rare cd for $800. No joke....Also, when the PS3 first came out. i bought two of them on credit. I nearly tripled my money (on what I originally spent) when I sold both of them on ebay. It's pretty effective but you have to be aware of who is buying and who is bidding. Also, ebay makes a profit off of you. You have to pay for certain things. That's the downside. It's never a 100% profit but if you do your research you can make some good money on ebay. |

it has to be something there's a lot of demand for like your ipod or collectable, otherwise you will lose money, cause ebay charges you fees for posting your sales....you can certainly make money if you know what people like |

There is no EASY way to make money on ebay.
People go to ebay looking to buy things CHEAP, which means the only way you make ANYthing is it's used and you dont want to just throw it out and are willing to take SOMETHING or you found something for free and it;s all profit. Even then you have to back out the listing fees, final value fees, paypal fees, etc
Do a search. This question is asked and answered all day long.
