What's the biggest rip-off you've ever come across?
I paid £15 today for two 1" black plastic covers to cover the roof-rack brackets on my car. I reckon they were worth 2p. Can you beat that?
Bottled water, absolutely no health benefits over drinkable tap water. Costs nothing to make and you pay as much as a beer for it. Do you really need .06mg of magnesium to make it through the day??

Neat Receipts. Seriously, I like the software and the scanalyzer, but I hated paying to stay up to date with tax information.
Use an online one, like http://www.shoeboxed.com (which is free and they scan receipts for you) or http://icreceipts.com (which costs like a little bit of money for storage, but you have to continue using your scanalyzer)!

My annual private pension was increased by aprox 4% on 1st April. On the same date the government abolished the 10% lower tax rate. Which means I am now £8 per quarter worse off than when I had the pension rise. Meanwhile, while I am struggling to live on my meagre pension, greedy politicians of all parties are "filling their boots up" by making fraudulent expenses claims. Diabolical and disgusting!
