Go to the nearest Social Security Office in your city. Your mom will need your birth certificate. Call to see if she needs anything else. You should be able to get it in a day. |

first of all you and your mom needs to go to Social Security Office and report the card lost. Then they will help you get a new one with a new number on it. And that takes about 4 weeks to receive it in the mail. also remember to report it to your job. If you don.t who ever finds your lost card may use it and steal your wages. taxes even your Social Security money when you retire. As long as you report it to social security and have them to track it for you. ask questions at the office. Good Luck. |

I think the only way you can get a SS card is to go to the SS administration building in your area. I believe that they mail it to you, but I could be wrong. |

Just me!

No fast way...you have to fill out a form and it takes 2-3 weeks to recieve a new one. Sorry :( |

the quickest way is to go to the SSA office.....you will have to wait in line....fridays and mondays are very busy, but it is the quickest way....and you can get a printed verification number when you leave....otherwise, you have to send in a mailed form with actual identification....which takes a long time, and you don't have the id to send in. |

The quickest way is to go to your local Social Security office but it will still take 4-6 weeks. The SS office will give you a certified statement attesting to your number and that may be accepted by the DMV. Call them to check. |

Go directly to your closest S.S. office and apply. They will probably give you some kind of certificate before a real replacement can be mailed to you P.S. Tell your prospective employer and the police that you have applied for a new one as you lost the original one. |
