that's stupid!!! my parents gave me the talk about saving money since i was 6 years old. if i were you i definitly would save, not just for something nice, but what if you need something realy quick (like a plane ticket to go russia to see your great uncle's 3rd cousin's bar mitzvah) but it's way above you budget, oh yay- you saved your money since you were (however old you are) and it happens you've got enough to travel all the way to russia to meet that relative you never knew you had |

If she's paying for half of your bills then yes, it is her business. You must decide to be an adult and pay your own way or enjoy mommy's help. |

the best thing you can do is save your money. budget the rest for bills and other expences. years from now you will be able to relax. my biggest fear is being homless, they did not save their money. |

saving for the future is never a bad idea. if you have a reasonable amount of money stored away, you might consider investing it in stocks or mutual funds. consider sitting down with a financial planner, usually a broker such as charles schwab will provide you with one for free. at any rate, the real difference between rich people and poor people isn't how much they make, but what they do with thier money. you're on the right track! |
