What amount of money would clear your debt?

stat`s in the U.K recon most people between the age of 25 to 35 have ВЈ20.000+ debt .credit cards , loans, ect.. are you one of these people . you view please

check this out I have ВЈ20.000 of debt then an ВЈ90.000 mortgage, a flat that is worth ВЈ115.000 if sold, no job and a car with half a tank of petrol and a boot full of tools oh and ВЈ0.25 cash, and to top the lot I used rapid restart on the jobseekers allowance after having two weeks work and have to wait 3 weeks to sign on then a further week for the money, hardley surviving on bits of cash paid work. Thanks a bunch Ben French. Would you be annoyed watching 12 years hard graft go down the swanny. 30 years old 35 years before retirement and the whole flat measures 17'x17' this diabolical and I earn good money when I can = ВЈ28000 to 35000 a year, so much for electricians.

im 50, live in a 3bed terraced house with garden garage and central heating DG etc. i have two kids still at school,

and i dont owe anyone anything... mind you, my car is an 18 year old volvo TDi, i last went on holiday in 1986.. and im in a wheelchair... and sponging off the state.

when i had the crash whhich cost me my legs i got bugger all, no compo, no cash handouts...

instead i get what im entitled to in state benefits. over the last 25 years its ammounted to around 425ooo pounds... much better than being given 100ooo and told to get on with it.

so, get back to work you lazy swine, do overtime and pay those taxes..and keep me in luxury... oh, by the way, i don't drink alcohol at all, i dont do holidays or new cars. ok, i smoke, but hey, if i cant fritter away five quid a week..then whats the world coming to?

and when both daughters attend uni, they'll go for free on scholarships, and have no student debt..

unlike my mate up the road. his wifes a solicitor, but hes a cripple like me. both kids are at uni, and hes just had to remortgage his house to send the kid off to london for 4 years...

and all i get is, well hell be earning XXand Y, and? it wont pay his bills..both kids equals around 45 thousand in debt... hes got a new harley, she want a porche... with his pension from peugeot and her earnings as a solicitor...theyre on the edge of bancruptcy, with absolutely no spare money whatsoever.

me, well, my cars 18 yrs old, my bike is a 22yr old BMW, i dont drink and i dont live the high life.. and as a direct consequence i dont have any debt.

and just because im on benefits doesnt mean i cant get credit. i have a platinum card.. with loads of credit..and i refuse to use it. if i cant afford it, i dont buy it... its that simple.

i borrow it, and i have to pay it back... no thanks. my pound notes are already expensive enough at 1pound each..the credit card companies want ВЈ1.30 for every ВЈ1 i spend... so they can bugger off.

and although i live in a council house, if the roof comes off, i dont care, if the bank rate goes thru the roof, i still wont care... if it gets burned to the ground by lightening and im not insured...i dont care. its not my house, and even though your pile of bricks is worth Xmany hundreds of thousands, its not worth jack, becasue unless you want to live in a transit van, or on a park bench, youve got to buy somewhere else to live, havent you? so wealth thru house ownership is an illusion... isnt it?

oh, i do have the best contenst insurance money can buy.. i'm on benefits, not stupid. and before you castigate me for my lifestyle, i didnt ask some drunk to smash me off my bike and put me in a wheelchair..and from the day i left school i worked and paid my taxes.. unlike millions of refugees, to whom we give handouts like its goiing out of fashion.

Over ВЈ50,000, my house was repossessed about five years ago, I had secure loan on the house and a car on finance.
Things went t1ts-up and I lost the lot. My only option is bankruptcy.

i live in Ireland and my balance on my mortgage alone is 69,000 and i fit into the age group oh how I'd love to only be in debt for 25,000

I`m Canadian and 60 yrs. old. $5000.00 would clear my debt. My children range in age from 21 to 35 They have very little debt.

I'm 22 and owe around 4500. I'm not worried about it, because I'm spending it on things I like, and doing things that will be difficult to do when I'm older. I think 20k is a bit extreme though!

I do not owe anyone a penny.-no loans,mortgage,or h.p.my cards are paid in full every month.
I have never collected benefit.
I have a wife and a son.3 cars,2 houses.4 holidays a year.
I work 7 days a week,sometimes up to 16 hours a day,running my own business.-(Which is not a limited company-so I cannot go bust leaving debts behind)
