Throw a party: find a space you can get for cheap (or ideally free: think friend with a big back yard). Ask some local musicians to play (you can find them on Craig's list or asking around town). Buy a couple of kegs and get some tickets. It's illegal to sell beer without a liquor license but you can sell people tickets and then have them trade the tickets in for beer. make the beer cheap, but not too cheap ($2.00ish) and make sure to buy something inexpensive like Milwaukee's Best. Charge 5 dollar admission and between that and the beer you'll make $$$ |

Other ways for side cash would be to sell things you no longer use on Ebay. I have bought large lots of DVD's on Ebay and sold them individually back on Ebay... Took some effort, but made a few hundred dollars in the end.
Most survey sites are no good, but this one will get you about $20 per month for your time.

You could make a newspaper with your friends, open a salon or smoothie shop in the summer in your yard or sell it at a park, make a babysitting club were you would baby sit at home, shovel snow or have a dog walking service.

It all depends on what your skills and interests are. Do you have something to offer that would be considered a commodity (ie. something that nobody else can offer)? The best way to make money is to naturally offer a good or service that is in high demand. |
